We’re pleased to share that Connect has been successful in securing a few funding bids recently. This support has helped us continue delivering youth-led, engaging sessions — and yes, it’s helped keep the lights on too!

That said, the work doesn’t stop here. Our team is constantly working hard to secure more sustainable income. It takes a significant amount of funding to keep our programmes running, support our dedicated staff, and, most importantly, continue offering exciting and meaningful experiences for the young people we work with.

While we are, at our core, a youth group, we also run extended sessions, day trips, and even residentials. We’re especially proud of two new and innovative projects currently being led by our young people — initiatives that are not only fun and creative, but also aimed at bringing money back into Connect.

On behalf of all the staff, I can say that we truly love what we do. The young people who come through our doors continue to inspire, challenge, and surprise us — and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.

If you know someone currently in Primary 5 and moving into Primary 6 this summer, they’re welcome to join us too — all we need is a completed consent form from a parent or guardian!
